His life journey

This is a man's simple life journey. Though it ended abruptly, it was filled with love, dedication, hard work, joy and satisfaction. Ramesh was born in 1975 in Aruppukottai, TN, India. He was the eldest son for his parents and he grew up with his younger sister and brother. He studied at Devangar Higher Secondary School, Aruppukottai. Always a dedicated and a top-level student, he went on to study at Coimbatore Institute of Technology from 1992-1996 in Electronics and Communication Engineering. There he was known for his great passion in electronics and he presented many technical papers.

After his engineering degree, he worked for Tata Consultancy Services, Bombay, India (1996) and Barbodas West Indies (1999) as a software engineer. Then he moved to New Jersey, USA (2000) and later to Boston suburb where he worked for BrassRing and Kenexa, rising to the position of software manager. He also worked towards getting a Masters in Computer Science.

He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was survived by his wife, daughter, son on the way, parents, brother and sister. He took great pride in his family and held great hopes and dreams for them. He loved teaching his daughter and making up fun inspirational stories for her that encouraged an interest in science and many other subjects.

He enjoyed playing cricket, tennis and biking. In the last few years, he was learning swimming and it became one of his favorite pastimes. On July 31, 2010, he went for a picnic with his family at a lake near west of Boston, MA, USA where he drowned and died while he was swimming.

He led a well-balanced life and enjoyed every part of it with full satisfaction. He was committed to his family and his work and was a dependable friend. He was an accommodating, sincere, generous, friendly, hardworking, intelligent man of deep contentment, gentleness and cheer. We all will miss him profoundly.

No words are there to express his loss..he'll live in our memories forever. His smile is always from bottom of his heart. I really tried hard to follow that but never succeeded delivering such a truthful friendly smile as everyone remembers that forever. Poor chap..in the world of failures and ill luck, nature picked him on that bad day with his family and so many people around. Few mins could have saved him...but the probabiliy of failure took its course..such a bad day I hate not to happen to anyone in this world.
He is such a clean and disciplened person, so many things to learn from him. I could never forget the 2001 New year, the day I and Jaggu (chem) drank so much and I fainted and trusted him to take care of my family when my eyes darkened. He is the one of a kind to rely for anything and everything.

I deeply mourn and pray for his family in deep distress.

This is wonderful way to pay homage to our dear katta Ramesh.

With Tears
